Description
God and St. Peter visit a notorious gambler, but he's gambled everything and can't offer them food, so St. Peter gives him money to buy some... instead of God just apparating it.
Hansel obviously gambles it away, so St.Pete just forces him to buy the bread, they reward him with three wishes (because he OBVIOUSLY learned his lesson?) and he asks for trick cards and dice and a tree with fruit that you can't climb down unless Hansel wants you to.
Soon Hansel literally owns half the world, so St. Peter sends Death and instead of gambling with Death, he tricks Death to climb the tree, where he was stuck for seven years until St. Peter forces him to let Death free and dies immediately.
He gambles in Hell and wins all the demons over and uses them to attack Heaven, so they let him in, only he's just a jerk they kick him out and his soul shatters and now it's living in every gambler.
